    My Savage 12vss

Finally I have got my varmint rifle sorted, after waiting 3 weeks for my silencer to arrive i have got a complete .22-250 varmint set-up.

The rifle is the Savage 12vss which i bought from Andrew Little 'SKANY', of this forum. And what a cracking rifle it is, puts my reloaded ammo into a 5p sized hole at 100meters and i can keep the groups under 1'' center to center at 200.

The scope is a Nikon Bushmaster 6-18x40mm, with target dot reticle, great for precise shot placement.

The silencer is a Wildcat Predator 8 .22 cal model, great for shooting without ear defenders, i value my hearing to much.

I have got a tactical bolt handle on order from sharpshooters, and will hopefully be having the bolt jewelled in a week. All in all I am over the moon to have such a precise and user friendly setup, which didnt cost the world.

    Thanks for reading. Cheers

    Thumbs up

I have a 12BVSS which is an excellent rifle and very accurate. I would recommend any Savage rifle to any one.

A jewelling a bolt is a way of polishing a pattern into the bolt body http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7xNh...eature=related
, mostly for asthetic appeal more than anything. Cheers
