evening bump..
original mod50 serial number 859
can anyone give me a rough value of this please , not to sell this is staying with me. it has a few marks in the blueing on the barrel not pitted . so do i get it reblued or not,
thanks..
evening bump..
hey up david
i love original stuff, it's so well made (like a lot of german stuff)
your 50 looks lovely, very sleek and i can't blame you for keeping hold of it...
as for value, were it mine i wouldn't let it go for under £160 but like you if it was mine, i wouldn't really part with it, i let a beautiful mod 50 type 01 go for £60 and bitterly regretted it ever since
i have the same quandry with an old mk3 webley that i acquired today though my decision is much easier than yours as my mk3 is totally lacking blueing in any form, i think i'll strip it, polish all the parts and send it for the treatment

Dear Mr. Smith,
sorry, but but this frontsight isn't available anymore.
Please take care that this version was manufactured before the II. world war.
i thought it was maybe the earliest 1960..
i am thinking of selling this gun now as i dont think ill use it and a gun i will use has just come up for sale off a mate which i can use a scope with . what do you think i should get for this gun .
