Hi Mark, not just being polite but think that looks fantastic -- really like it and think it a great way to give an otherwise tired pistol a new lease of life . May even get one done myself someday (been thinking about it for a year or so). As to value, well it won't be as high as the similarly aged v-vgc standard MkI that I sold last Easter time (£85 plus post), but imco should be worth an easy £60 plus post all day long . Atb and thanks for showing us: Gareth W-B.

... Now as that includes all the prep (and hopefully reassembly after), as a price that isn't too bad, isn't too bad at all .... hmmm .

Oops, my mistake on interppretation of "stripped" . Still keen prices though, and if their work can satisfy the exacting standards of both the Scooter Boy and Biker fraternity, then their work must be very good indeed, as those two groups expect nowt but the very best (and quite right too ). Er, read the comments, not seen a 'firm' valuation but if it is up for sale I am very interested.

How does the plating affect the rifling inside the barrel? Is it plugged at both ends before plating?
