    Daystate Midas (old model)

    Someone has offered me the above...I know very little about them..any Daystate experts to enlighten all of us please? Any opinions on value appreciated.

    my daystate (huntsman mk1's) are dead accurate if not a tad heavy

    really well made and nice to shoot

    fergot to say, midas air cylinders (i think) are brass (looks like the golden 'midas touch')

    Hi Mike, I sold a vgc .177 Daystate Huntsman MkI FTR last August for £225 plus post. The Midas is a similar value rifle imho, so there is your price . Atb: Gareth W-B.

    Thanks for that. The really intriguing thing is that the stock is described to me as being like a WW2 Mauser stock! I will have to get some pics.

    Nice rifles, owned one with target stock.
    Downsides imo; trigger not well adjustable, heavy cocking, and very heavy in weight.
    But it looked great and shot ragged holes at 50m!
    Were made with different barrels iirc, Parker Hale and?? Trigger were singlestage unless upgraded. There were several versions I believe with/without open sights, FTstock etc. It's basically a Huntsman I believe, with low action. Made in the 80s.
    Best pressure iirc about 180bar, about 70 shots in 4.5mm.

    send me the serial number and ill sort the info out. you can check the database yourself but ii have extra info.
