It's been good reading this thread, sure seems like y'all had a good time while I was working my lillywhite ass off. There's nothing like an informal shoot to get to know each other.

To Jim & Jan I admire your spirit, mind you it's quite a long shot from New Orleans to Coventry, how much 'hold-over' did you use?

Congratulations to the winner and all entrants,

    atb Phil

    Hi Everyone
It was a great day out thanks to Paddy and Jason for doing all the organisation and a big thank you to Mrs Paddy for providing the refresments. All I can do is echo everyones comments and to say it was good to meet you all, well worth the 240 mile round trip. The journey home was a bit slow no real hold ups but very wet. Still we are home safe and sound and looking forward to the next one

    Hi Keith & Lynn

Helen says thank you, she was really happy how the day went & said what lovely people you all are & she enjoyed it as much as our kids. She wanted to make sure everyone was looked after, because of the distances you all had to travel.

We was talking in the Greyhound after with Jason Mike & Cheryl about the misconceptions of what people think about us that shoot airguns & firearms. But that is for a different thread.

    Great time had by all

    Hi Guy's n Gal's,

Just to stick my views on the meet in!

    What a superb day

I exceeded my expectations in the comps and was chuffed by my results
I would like to thank Paddy, for the work he has put into the organisation, Thank you to All those who attended; including the non-shooters, that made it so worth while.

Thanks to Helen for looking after us and making sure we didnt all waste away and its a shame I could'nt over indulge myself in what was a great spread.

Thanks to both Pad's and Helens Girls, Sinaed and Saphire for being there and helping out with score keeping etc..

Thanks to Delta1 for his kind comments on my shooting

Thanks to Ryan for allowing me to shoot in the PCP using his LP50
Thanks to Jason for letting me borrow his HW40 (as mine was not Zero'd)

Many, many thanks to Jim & Carol without whose help I would not have been able to attend
And also Many, many thanks to Jason for going that extra mile for me and helping me out
Hopefully next time I can repay all of you for your help.

I could go on and on and on (okay I do anyways) seriously it was great to meet you all and I had such a wonderful time.
Thanks to Jason, Mike & Cheryl for a wonderful evening.

Well Done & Cheers to all!
    Tony

    Ha!
I've not really enjoyed driving long distances recently. Cardiff airport is 20 miles away and serves the UK quite well...I'd rather go further and fly!
    What gets built up there?

    Yep I banged me head

I went over into the club house & said thank you

I myself & everyone really did appreciate the use of the grounds. They said that we would be welcome again if we needed a venue again.

Thanks Tony for your kind words.

    Regards
    Paddy.
