Hey guys
I am losing air (fast) out of my Rapid MKII. I filled it up to 232 BAR and went out shooting. I shot less than 10 shots and the next morning it was completely empty! On removing the bottle the air was coming out of the valve but when I refilled it the valve was seated and nothing was leaking..... I presumed it was the bottle but perhaps once the pressure dropped to such a small amount it may not be enough to seat the valve closed?
Could it be the O ring seal or something within the action causing this? No one I know has a rapid to try another bottle out.
Cheers
Si

if it coming down the barrel, then its most likely your o rings on the valve body,
valve stem springs dont usally go like that unless its been fiddled with
there is also a chance if its a regged gun it my be venting air through the small breather on the reg, just put a little spit over it and see if its leaking.
O ring kits available for a service, very simple if your careful, and the reg is quite simple but you will need to check the reg setting after to make sure its still set correctly.
don't panic its easly sorted
the bottle valve is always open when on the gun so a leaky bottle will not be the problem.
Thanks guys.
I don't think it is coming from the barrel end.
It has not been tampered with and was last serviced a couple of years ago by Ben Taylor. Perhaps it needs another service?

maybe a daft question but do you have a Ore ring on your bottle (now i know they dont come with one) but ive found this has helped in the past
I have original O ring on. Perhaps I need a new one.

It may not be relevent, but I had the same problem with my AA S400 last year.
After I stripped it down and cleaned the main firing seal the problem mysteriously disappeared, never to return!
