Here's my card for November: 45, 39, then a 37 (9,4!,9,7,8 ) and a 42 (10,9,5!,9,9,) total 163, might have beat my best score if not for the two flyers!
first couple of final scores are in, scroll to the bottom of the results page to see what you need to beat, although you can ignore my score as I am exempt from winning a prize.
cheers guys

Hi Folks,
Sorry i've not posted any scores for ages, problems with the Beeman im afraid. Couldnt keep pressure long enough to shoot.
Ive had it to bits a few time and relubed it and it seems ok for a while, then starts again. It's ok at the moment but i wont post scores as its the last round.
Once again sorry for disappearing!

Evening Graeme et al
Well, I finally got around to it - the final card - with the usual erratic shots, but one very pleasant surprise.
For 3 out of four of the diagrams I knew I'd fired some shots as I could see one hole either clear of the black bit or at least peeking out of it (doh ). The 4th (2nd diagram shot) was a mystery only revealed when I walked up to the target.
Results per diagram were:
1. 6,9,9,10,10 = 44
2. 10,10,10,10,10 = 50
3. 7,8,8,9,10 = 42
4. 7,8,8,9,9 = 41
Total 177 and including that PB diagram 2 which really surprised me; it hadn't felt that good. Well chuffed So much so that I felt the need to take a piccy of it ...

Congratulations, Brian!
I hope to get out and shoot this afternoon.
Remember that time for this, our final round, is growing short, gents.

My lousy performance with my Beeman continues:
Last-round scores:
21, 28, 26, 28 = 103 / 200.
Whatever....
My eyesight isn't going to get better, my hand isn't going to get steadier, the pistol isn't going to get heavier, the barrel isn't going to get longer, the flippin' muzzle flip isn't going to cease....I just need to put this pistol aside and work with something I can hold steady.
I'm doing a lot better with my Smith.
And my wife is going to "semi-surprise" me at Christmas. She asked me what I wanted, I told her either a Daisy Avanti 747 SSP with left-handed grips, or an HW 70 springer.
Either is a more substantial pistol than this Beeman. I believe I'll reserve the Beeman for beginners who want to shoot.
Anyway....my thanks to Polly for running a great competition: hope we can come back and do it all again, someday.
Cheers,
Jim

All scores updated. Thanks guys.
Thanks for the thanks Jim, nice to have had you on board.
Only a a few more hours and the winner will be declared (officially) although I think we all know which way it's heading.
Once I work through all the rubbish I have let build up I will probably run another comp. I just desperatley need to sort out a lot of neglected stuff.
Cheers folks, wacth this space on Tuesday for the full result.

Full of flu or something only slightly milder, but I thought I'd make the effort!
Looking at the results, I wish I hadn't bothered!!!
