The Umarex version is excellent and very accurate for a plinker. Nowhere near good enough for 10m target though, in case you were thinking along those lines.

Walther CP-2 Match, FAS 604 & Tau 7 target pistols, Smith & Wesson 6" & 4" co2 pistol, Crosman 1377,
Baikal IZH 53 pistol, Gamo CFX Royal,177, Umarex SA-10 CO2 pistol.
Go for it, they are great fun, ideal for the UBC 6 yard Comps.
Fancy shooting your air pistols & rifles a bit more, then guy's & gal's come visit us at theUBC for loads of fun competitions for all types of air pistols and rifles.
Been using/playing with a 6" barrelled S&W after our Gallery shoots @ Bisley on Melville
They will still break clays out to 20M !!
Good gun - great fun !!

80% of our club members use these in the Local clubs Umarex competitions. Feels pretty much like the real thing at least as I remember it.
Ok thanks!
But if decided to get a hw45.177
Thanks again

The HW 45's a good choice too, from what I hear, though I have no experience with it.
But they're apples and oranges things: the S&W is a solidly made, full size, full weight facsimile of Smith's cartridge revolvers. It's a 10-shot CO2 repeater, lots of fun but not as powerful as the HW 45, which is a probably- even-more-solidly made replica of the Colt .45 automatic. It's more powerful than the Smith, and is a single shot springer.
