Hi Guys
What would you recommend for the Tau7 re pellets?
I've been recommended & given a tin of Match-Kugeln High Speed .177 pellets rather than the Match Finale ones I've been using.
1) Recommendations for a sales outlet?
Also any
2) other pellet recommendations?
Thanks
Linnet

Don't bother with expensive pellets until your average is something over 90! Just use RWS Hobby or Geco. Cheap, good quality and they fly well. Best place to buy is JSR, a sleeve at a time. Make a joint order with others at the club to split postage.
Walther CP-2 Match, FAS 604 & Tau 7 target pistols, Smith & Wesson 6" & 4" co2 pistol, Crosman 1377,
Baikal IZH 53 pistol, Gamo CFX Royal,177, Umarex SA-10 CO2 pistol.
Same here, the Match-Kugeln High Speed are fantastic all my pistols love them, but they are expensive, as already said stick to the cheaper Hobby/Geco's and once your groups are good, switch to the better quality pellets, this should tighten up your groups even more.

Fancy shooting your air pistols & rifles a bit more, then guy's & gal's come visit us at theUBC for loads of fun competitions for all types of air pistols and rifles.
I had a tin of the H&N High Speed, and did not like them.
Reason being, some i had to thumb in quite firmly, some thumbed in easy and some just fell in. This put me off buying them again, maybe i had a bad tin.
Now i use RWS C02 Target.

Mine likes Vogels, Bisley Practice though are fine, you will likely need to sort them sometimes the quality control is not that great.
RWS Hobbys have pretty large skirts. No problem for the Alfa as it has a bolt & probe to seat the pellets. If you have to seat the pellets in the Tau with your thumb, make a little "dibber" from a piece of plastic (old toothbrush handle?) to seat them with.
Best solution is a pellet sizer from UK Neil, then they are all the same dia..

Bisley practice.. all my pistols love 'em

I'll try some cheaper pellets, it will be a while before I'm consistently scoring 90+ I think!!!!. I wasn't sure how critical they were.
Thanks guys.
