What pellet do you use for 100 meter/yard shooting?
What pellet do you use for 100 meter/yard shooting?
I'm using a SteyrLG110HP 5.5 40j. Did some chrony shots with a few brands of lead.
According the chrony results i would say AA Fields are giving the lowest spread.

your numbers seem very good so i would go with the heaviest and most accurate of that batch.

I have the same gun.
I got the best groups with JSB jumbo heavy 5.52(18 grain i think) 1,175grams.
Barracudas are good but not as good as the jsb.
On a very low wind day i was surprised by the groups of jsb 5.50 at 115 meters.
Unfortunately i didnt had time to try more types of pellets that day, only jsb 5.50 and logun penetrator at same weight. Logun had more drop and worst grouping.
Try the jsb heavies I think they are the best on all conditions. And definitely try the 5.50
The jsb express have very bad grouping and jsb match and straton are the worst of all jsb's.
