    Webley Junior

I have a .177 caliber Junior. Black chequered grips. Under the LH grip, stamped into the frame is the number 5008. Is it a serial number ?, and if so, can anyone give me an idea of its DOB.

    Thanks in advance

Need to see a picture to date it, they were made from 1930 to the 80's (i think) with many changes in design.

from the info I have, it appears to be from 1946 to 1950 due to the lack of an adjustable rear sight.

    Regards Mike

I agree with Mike about the rear sight, but would also like to add that it is probably closer to 1950 due to the shape of the grips.
