I.J with regards to the "no part of this airgun is edible" perhaps thats why Weihrauch dropped the leather piston washer....

    35 stock query

How many of 35 users here have a damaged stock caused by the barrel latch sticking and chipping the u shape cutout in the fore arm of the stock?? Mine is an export version and im really pleased i never had the barrel cut down when i was a teenager(i liked carbines in them days).. I would like to get the stock refinished as its got a few scratches can anyone point me right direction..It also needs a good service as it still has the original leather piston head!! The safety doesnt go right through the rear block, does that mean a '70s model does anyone know?

If you e-mail Weihrauch direct (here info@weihrauch-sport.de) with the serial number of the rifle they will, eventually, get back to you with the exact date of manufacture.

MODS: Would it be worth while making this info about dating Weihrauch rifles a 'sticky' as its a very popular question.

I am suprised more people don't use the 35 as an alternative to the 95 or similar in the recoiling class in HFT because the breech lock must make it a more accurate break barrel than any of the others. And it runs pretty well at sub 12ftlb.

I suppose because its an "old" gun it lacks any Kudos or is the 98 just that that much better suited to FT.
dont know the ME yet , as for 98 and the 35 they are surprisingly similar in performance. i took the 35 for its first hft the other day and done better then i thought i was going to , the weather was pushing 20mph gusts so you can imagine what it was
like , got some good shots off though my best one of the day was a 35 yarder 40mm on top of a 20 ft pole which was planted on top of a 20ft mud bank ,i aimed off the plate 1inch to the right with right to left wind blowing this pulled my pellet dead centre. this was the moment myself and my 35 became real good friends .

Yes and like many dealers they list it but don't have any in stock. However its not a major problem because all Weihrauch dealers can order whatever you want. Even the stuff that Hull Cartridge don't import.

I must admit I dont blame them for not holding stock. If they were to stock say every HW in each calibre (some of which would be slow moving) that would tie up a lot of cash.
