Dependant upon the result of the test fires and external finish I may well be interested in this, I've been after one for a while.

My guess on prices (to be confirmed by those more knowledgable) range from £60 for something needing work to maybe £140 with good bluing and uncracked stock.

Once you've got an idea on price, if your mate wants to sell I'd certainly like the option.

Sort of ditto wot Russ says although a nice patina finish is more likely than original blue below £140. Patina is fine imo however, and is equally as enjoyable to own (and again imo preferable to a re-blue ). Atb: G.

There was a mint Mk 1 for sale, by one of the dealers at the Midand Game Fair for £325.00, all etching and blueing in perfect condition. I was not prepared to pay that price but would have paid a lot more than £140.00.

    Hello ,

Also interested . Pictures would help with a valuation.
I would have thought £140 a little on the lean side.

Like I said guys, more than happy to hear from those more knowledgeable.

It would be a rare find indeed if bluing and etching were truly "mint" but you never know.

Would love to see a photo or two.

It very much depends on the true condition of this Airsporter, but if it really is in superb condition, then I would have thought a figure nearer £200 would be more in keeping.
Photographs would appear to be essential.
What is the serial number of the Airsporter?

... Yes, agree with all the above that for a mint example £140 is a bit lean, which is why I said ...

... but as David aka Troubledshooter has said, to offer a more refined price guide photos would be needed . Atb: G.
