Anyone about to order anything from DnR ?

If so, I'd like to piggyback on your order, share costs, etc

Do you mean D&R in the US. Prices are good. Not planning to order stuff for a while. But like you it's good to club together to share postage. However even for a one off order it's still cheaper than buying in UK.

the d & r website appears to have a dodgy security cert.

I've never had any problems ordering from D&R, if you've ordered from them before, as I suspect Jon has, you can simply ring them with your order as all your details are on their computer.
BTW paramaniac, I got one of my Bushnell Tactical scopes from them, works out at £135'ish including import duty etc...bargain and an excellent scope t'boot. I might even be selling one soon for around that price.
    Rgds,

i was using Opera browser and it gave me a security warning about the site.
only the 2nd time its happened in about 3 years

the problem it described was too testicle for me to understand though.

it just said basically that the security certificate did not match the website. and that somebody could be attempting to eavesdrop.

I placed an order with DNR on the 9/9. Yesterday I e-mailed them as I hadn't recieved anything to be told my scope would be despatched today!!!!!!
I suspect they simply forgot about my order and didn't have the decency to say so and appologise. I have used them before without problem and this is the first such problem with them.
