MTC Mamba - Weaver Mounts! Help!

Hi all,

Can someone help me out here? Im totally going out of my head trying to figure this one out.

I want to mount an MTC Mamba on my Ruger 10/22.. it has a weaver rail and I want to use Weaver mounts because I wanna take advantage of the ease of removal and refitting.. this way I can have two scopes ... one Mamba for target shooting and a big scope for bench rest.

Now... The young and gorgeous GaryC has told me that the Mamba is 28mm tube... so where the hell do I get decent 28mm medium or low mounts from that are compatible with the weaver rail... must be quick release so thumb screw or some such rather than allen bolts.

I think the mamba is a 30mm Tube.

Thanks Graham, does it fit good? the only reason I am enquiring because Gary Cooper of MTC has told me its a 28mm tube.

If yours fit in a set of Tikka 30mm I dont imagine I will have any problems with the Weaver QD Mounts.

(Edit.. I have PM'd the Lord of MTC to ask him to descend down from Optics Heaven and solve this!)

And I'm a twat for believing it..... been sitting here for hours pondering 28mm tubes.

Your gonna get an expenses claim for those hours of my life back, but its ok cause im pretty cheap.
