Note:- It doesn't fit 11mm sight rails, only weaver mounts.

THIS one, however, does fit 11mm dovetails.

Mods, I know this is a link to the dreaded "auction site that must not be named", but as it's to one of Edward's items I assume it's ok.

Ooh! that feels good, posting a link to flea-bay

No it doesn't does it, the system has beaten us this time, the reference to "the auction site" in the URL is deleted.

Try as I might I cannot get the system to allow the URL so to find this elusive red dot sight click on any of JSR's ads at the bottom of this page, click on sellers shop in the top right hand corner, the sights are on page 4, listed as NcStar red/green dot sights.

Nice one Phil, don't know why I didn't think of that especially as I've done it before.

That's the one, got one for my Beretta 92, just not had time to fit it yet.

    Got mine fits
nicely on my weaver mount replacing walther top point sight, which"I"
found made my cp99 top heavy and cumbersome on the bridge mount..Mike..

I got one of those JSR ones with the dual mount on my HW45 at the mo. Needed to shim it a bit with beer can but works nicely so far.

Mike, was it the £20 JSR one you got? How is it for fit/finish, brightness, quality etc?

yes it was the one, only had
quick plink, seems good to me, I hate reccomending kit cos what suits me,
does'nt apply to all ?,for me its light, compact, smooth, and adequately replaces
the walther top point which came with the pistol,I found this to big and bulky
for a CP99,and made the pistol feel unbalanced, and awkward...Mike...

    Cheers

I have two sights which look like that: an original Hakko Panorama Mk 3 which I think all the others are copies of, and a Barska branded copy. The only issue I found with the Barska is the dot brightness. 0-7 levels but even at 7 they can be hard to pick out on a bright day and/or against a light coloured target. The small dot (think it's 3 MOA) all but disappears in bright sunshine at level 7 whereas the larger 10 MOA dot and the crosshair is just visible.

If the JSR is nice and bright at max setting I might invest in one as these are my favourite kind of optical pistol sight. I shoot with both eyes open and I like the fact there isn't a thick tube round the lens to obscure the target.
