Good Luck! Everyone
Brilliant cause to raise money for, I really hope you have a dry and prosperous day...
I am gutted that I am working tomorrow and can't make it, so apologies for my absence...
Paul, if you let me have your Paypal A/C I will donate a tenner to start the ball rolling...
Cheers and see you all soon,

Just a quick one to thank all those that donated prizes, help with the day, turned up for the shoot and for all the donations, all in we raised just over £1100, a excellent amount of money, thanks you all.
Im going for my tea now and a sleep (cos im knackered) and ill get the scores up later and gary greyling has a load of pics to put on.
Once again thanks to all, give yourselves a pat on the back
Fort and it's members can take a massive "Pat on the back" for raising such a magnificent amount.
Not only that but a superb shoot as well.
There were quite a few people who travelled a fair distance. Good on you.
ATB
Ray.
Thanks all for making us so welcome, we both really enjoyed the whole weekend. Really proud to have been part of a day thats raised so much money for such a good cause.
Cheers
Andrea and Ryan

Great day out and well done Fort for putting on a great event, cracking venue and good to put some faces to names. Not sure about Cliff's chef hat but the burgers were good
"Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons"
The "Chef's hat" is a standing joke that has become my 'trade mark' so to speak.
Gary (Grayling) almost bursts with excitement to get his camera out when I don the 'uniform de le chef'.
Gary says I am the most photographed bloke on the BBS, Pad E. being a close second...... he fails to mention that it is he who takes the bleddy photos....
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the food, sorry if I disappointed some who were expecting blackened remains as per a "normal" BBQ.
I actually do enjoy providing good (safe) food for folks who appreciate it.
It was a slog today, hot working area, warm weather, not to mention trying to cook on the Welsh equivalent of the North Face of the Eiger!!
So I'm Lobster Red, in pain, but, HEY!!...... I'M NOT IN AFGHANISTAN BEING SHOT AT!!
and that is precisely why we got together today.
I am proud of what we, the airgunning community can do. I am proud to be associated with all you good people.
Here's to the next one....
If Ferret or one of the other organisers is at NWSS tomorrow around noon I'll gladly donate to the pot. I'll be up there playing with my SR and Mk4

As Chairman of the hosting Fort Airgun Club, I would like to thank everybody who turned out to support this fantastic charity.
A lot of bulging wallets were reduced to a sad state in no time at all. Everybody were just so keen to swell the funds for Help for Heroes.
Cliff did a sterling job with the barbeque, proven by it's popularity. Sorry that the sun got you mate, a fate a lot of us are suffering tonight. The coconut shy turned out to be a great source of amusement (as did the coconuts) .
Fort Airgun Clun sponsor, Tony of Tonys Camo, wore many hats during the day. Car parking supervisor, raffle ticket sales, guess the pellets competition and then organising the raffle draw. He even donated a brand new HW35 rifle.
Bill, the landowner and his wife Trish, came over and sat with us for a couple of hours after walking around the course and enjoying the shoot.
The Fort lads had laid on a super course considering they were only able to start work on it at 7:30 this morning.
Over £1100 raised, WOW!!
Gary (Grayling) should gain strength in the knowledge that he has a lot of support from the airgunning community when he tackles the Njimijen march shortly. Good luck with it mate, you are a far braver and fitter man than me.
Thanks again everybody.
Mike.
