Don't forget to put one aside for me please Andrew (It's a damn sight neater than my cobbled together board )
Yes and no. The chronys TTL signal has a distance limitation of about 10 feet, while RS232 can go up to 50 feet (~15m) although most specs will say ~25 feet, USB is about 15 feet. So 50 feet is a theoretical maximum (chrony > RS232 adapter > extension > PC)
You can get RS232 signal boosters to extend the range but you would need 2 possibly 3 of these.
Not very cheap but it possible to extend the usb range by using a USB > Cat5 cable > USB extension system

Hi,
I'd like one including USB adapter too if you take paypal.
I'd be happy to pay a little more for p&p, since I'm on the continent
Cheers,

Looking at the chrony from the front, on the left hand side of the display unit (actually on the side of the chrony if you like) you should see a hole. If your chrony is pre 2001 (iirc) then it won't be fitted.
You can see the hole in this pic (just)
