    Renovation Weihrauch HW50

    Hi,

This Weihrauch HW50 lived the last 25 years in an rabbitstall.

The metalwork has been sandblasted en polished in the lathé. I've sanded the stock, and gived it some wood stain * wood oil.

The metalwork is beeing done by Black Oxide. It all worked out very well, the 50 is new!

    Hi Teun

    Lovely step by step photos...
You have done a really nice job on the metalwork, have you any photos of the action back in the stock ? then we will see what it really looks like..

What sort of power is the HW50 pushing out Teun ? and what caliber is it 177 or 22..

The reason I'm asking is I have a HW50 in 177 and its pushing out 8ftlb with a shortened spring.. I'm going to fit a full 29 coil spring to it soon and work from there..

    Will..

    Hi Will,

I'm affraid not, the HW50 was not mine. I will ask the owner a new pic.

The caliber is .177. With H&N FTT the power is about 11 fpe. 8 is not much!
