I've mentioned this before, but it's always been hidden in other posts.
Has anyone out there in BBS Land got Mercury S serial number WH 01266.
I sold it in a moment of skint weakness in order to buy furniture for our first house and now I'm a little more solvent I'd like to buy it back. Anyone on here got it?

That I.J. has this sought-for BSA is almost unbelievable. Or is it? Perhaps that Mercury-S was doctored with the same metal stamping tool that gave birth to the BSF S65?
I want another Mercury-S now, Gareth released my old one into the wilds of Peru(!). Yes he did.
It was a .22 anyway.

Harry, if I find another Mercury 'S' in .177 in the same condition there is that possibility. For the time being shall we just say Ive adopted it.

What are the odds on that
A man can always use more alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
In some ways its worse than not knowing - in that you know exactly where it is, but you can't get yer mitts on it!!!
Not yet he cant but like Ive stated earlier I shall keep an eye open for another .177 'S' to replace it. Harry has first refusal of WH01266 when I sell it. I cant say fairer than that.
At least he knows its whereabouts and that its in good hands and not being butchered.
Now, whoes looking for BSF Mod 65 no C958?

Yep, all I.J did was input the make, model and serial number into the computer database of his vast collection.
And after 30 seconds of running the numbers it came back to him with the location of which of his warehouses it was in, what floor, isle, row and how many rifles it was from the top.
Just think of IKEA, but on a much grander scale.
