Season2 Vintage & Open Class Rifle Competition Starts 28th Nov

    Hi All.

Just to let you know that the Second Season Vintage Competition & the NEW Open Class Air Rifle Competition starts this Saturday.

The rules are >HERE< we'll be using a new Target which is still a themed Vintage target, so the bull sizes is bigger than our 6yd/10m targets. please read the scoring rules for more details. The target is >HERE<

However we are open to your thoughts if you think this Target is unsuitable.

    Vintage Competition:

Same as last season with categories of

Pistol & Rifle Open Sights set at 6yds
Pistol & Rifle Optical Sights set at 10m

    Open Class Rifle Competition:

Rifles designated are basically none 'tuned' or top of the range rifles. Cheap Plinking/ Chinese Rifles are allowed. So abit of common sense is required when picking your rifle. I.e my AA Camargue is not allowed or even a HW77 for instance. Though the main stream SMK/Chinese B2 Rifles are allowed.

    Categories will be

Rifle Open sights set at 6yds
Rifle Optical Sights set at 10m

Submitting scores will be sent to me at ubc.competition@googlemail.com

The critera required is on the rules page.

So lets hope we all have fun & see what our cheaper & older Airguns can do.

    Regards from the U.B.C

    Hi Jef

Because the Vintage comp started a month after all other comps. I wanted to put all comp seasons to start & finish at the same time.

I thought I advertised it, as I done the calender a few months ago. Sorry for the confusion

    Regards
    Paddy.

    so using this target
the inner circle and the circle with a 10 in both score 10 but if people are tied then it goes down to the number of x bulls they get??

sorry im probably just being stupid??

Patience boy!! It's dark when I get home and I don't have a lamping rig on my rifles.
If I'm going to use the B2 I at least need to be able to see the target, to aim off by the yard or so I will need to.
Keep your fingers crossed for a wind free weekend (that's no beans for me for the rest of the week then) and I'll send some in, promise!
