    Here are our November results!

A very sparse turnout for the Optical Division this time: just PHILG, with a score of 278. So, Phil takes Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with his Smith-8, Weaver Red Dot, and RWS pellets.

In the Open-Sight Division, there was a lot of competition.

    - PADDY scored a 186: Anics Skif.

    - JEFL scored 241: Colt 1911, Geco's.

    - then came RUBBERHUBBY, scoring 248 with his Walther CP 88, and R 10 match pellets.

    - a TIE at 258 between Adam77K, using a CP 88 and DN Geco's, and JIMMc, using a Smith-6, and H&N Match pellets.

    - THESHOOTIST rolled up a most commendable 265, using a Smith-8 (a heavy rascal, that! and RWS Geco pellets.

    - I'm proud to say that JANMc took the Bronze, with a score of 273, and beating me with my own pistol and pellet combo. Way to go, Jan!

    - Silver fell to MIKE145! Mike racked up a terrific score of 278, with a C 225, and RWS Hobby pellets.

    - But, as they say in Highlander, there can be only One: and this month's No. 1, beating Mike by a single point, was SOL1821! Sol scored his 279 with another of those CP 88's, and using Geco pellets.

Side Match (descending order, same shooting equipment):

    - the winner was SOL1821, with a 48.

    - second place: a TIE between ADAM77K, and MIKE145 : 47.

    - third place: JANMc, with a 45.

    - a TIE between THESHOOTIST, and FRONTBRAKE/ALAN: 44.

    - JEFL: 43.

    - JIMMc: 42.

    - PADDY: 38.

So, there we are till next time! Keep sjooting, and keep having fun!

That's yer girl. Warned you all months ago she's the one to watch. Well done Jan, keep on doing it

    - JIMMc: 42. I think you'd better see me in my office Master Jim. I'm looking for improvement here.

Jim it's very much appreciated for all the effort you put in organising and scoring this comp.

    Good luck, Phil

Well. I'd just like to say it's a good job Paddy is so busy with all the other competitions that he doesn't get much practice.

He's now at the top of my favourite people list.

He's really a very nice person

HE KEPT ME OFF THE BOTTOM!!

    Cheers Paddy

And thanks to Jim for organising this one. It was fun to shoot, once I'd worked out what to do; it's got to be our most complicated competition.
I'm going to rope Don in for the next one, perhaps a bit of competition might give me a spur.

Ah thanks Jef you're so kind .

You are true though I don't get to practice. But hay ho, I don't think that would help me, I'm that bad

I've put the scores up on the Comp Website so we all can follow the progress for this season. >>HERE<<

    Regards
    Paddy.

    Yeah guys
keep your eyes on that Jan baby. Took one look at my 586 with the 8" barrel and said "Yeah I'd love to have a go, but it looks a bit too heavy for me". Picked it up and did 95 on the full size target. From cold.

JIm: Do NOT buy her one of these.

Jan is actually a great natural athlete. She has the eyesight, the balance and coordination.
