If you dont do it today, you might not be able to do it tomorrow!
Not air rifle i know but.....
I walked into a gun shop too a few years back to buy a brand new CZ452 .22lr for £300+ and walked out with an Anschutz 1710HB .22lr costing well over double Best on the spot decition i ever made, my wife still thinks it cost £120 but my pocket took a canning for a long time after
i recently bought a webley service mk2 for £100,not in great condition but works a treat, got offered 300 for it by a dealer the next day
A couple of years ago i picked up two pistols a Crossman 1300 & Original 5g both mint in their original boxes with receipts & everything, 20 quid the pair.
I am still trying to forget about the best english muzzleloading 4 bore i nearly got for 60 quid 30 years ago, gold inlays platinum breech bands & a stock to die for. Weep.
Hi Graham
I've got no pictures of the Airsporter S at present but if I get a chance over the weekend I'll dig it out and take some.
Even though it was a bargain and looks nice, I class this gun as the worst twenty quid I've ever spent.
Having made all the internals out of stainless and brass the loading tap decided to leak, so I just gave up with it.
Besides which I have better made toys to play with.
All the best Mick

My best bargain was a book not a gun. I bought a brand new copy of The Airgun Book (red edition) for £1.00 in 1985. It must have gone up in value at least 25 times that amount since then. The Airgun Book was always a mine of great information and taught me loads about shooting. I have never understood why they stopped publishing it. Does anyone know?
Bought a Osprey Supertarget in VGC complete with all the front sight elements and a case of Discfelt cleaning pellets off an Airsoft sight for a mere45 quid.
However my father has just been given a VGC condition pre 64 Winchester Model 12 Shotgun.....(sorry not an airgun deal but pretty good going)
I was offered an old air pistol by a work colleague, I asked him to bring it in to show me.
He pulled out a lovely original condition Webley Senior.
I had a look and got one of you good chaps to date it for me.
Turns out it is 1936.
£ 30 bought it!
Happy Christmas Folks

This photo needs updating as I sold one of the Mercury S to my mate NOCITY and the other Mercury is promised to return to its original owner.
Merry Christmas.
