Blimey that's a shock Ben. Condolences from all of us who love shooting and recognise the contribution made by Theoben.
I am sad to have to report that my old partner at Theoben, Dave Theobald, has died suddenly while on holliday in Africa.
It seems he felt ill and ended up in hospital and suddenly had a heart attack from which they could not save him.
My thoughts are with his wife Barbara and his 2 daughters.

Sorry to read this sad news ben, I know you two were good buddies and its sad when a friend gets this sort of news.
You and Dave were the founders of Theobens and many shooters will say you two developed the most out-standing air rifles ever and Dave will never be forgotten, may the gentleman rest in peace .
R.I.P. Dave Theobald. and my condolences to his family.
