    Stripdown Guide

Does anyone know how you stripdown a CP99? Or could someone give me a link?

I've got the parts diagram, but it doesn't explain how to strip.

    Hopefull

Dont! They are a pain in the arse to put back together (and get working) if there are anything like the cpsport!

The replacement springs are really expensive if you bugger the up. But i found that you can use springs from pens!

Thanks guys, I'll take the hint, it shoots OK, it's only the slide release that's loose. I just thought maybe it had come loose, but I'll leave it alone

aww come on its got to be A+ for effort, thats the actual link to the cp99 manual there

i did look on YouTube for some strip down guides but videos with the cp99 in generally have a chav holding onto it so the most intelligent thing that gets said is usually "ahhh bruv thaz da James bond gun like init"

I've got a cp99 that i fancy taking apart, if you fancy opening yours up as well we can have a comp to see who can loose the most amount of little springs

Oh it's definately an A+ for pee taking Got to admit i was completely taken in with the doctored link & I nearly fell of my chair laughing at was was there.

It's still tempting to try and strip it. Maybe I need to find a giant plastic hamster ball so I can try & keep all the little bits in

If you do decide to give it a go, do it inside a clear plastic bag, that way, when it goes "ping" the bits won't go too far.

Also, take close up photos at several stages as you go. Worth their weight in gold for the rebuild.
