Thanks for the pic.
Definitely inspired by the S400/410 stock.

Hello,
Thought you might like to see a pic of the new Super Ten Walnut stock, as there aren't many around yet.
Stock is nicely figured walnut, with a slimmer grip than the Mk 2. The grip chequering on the Mk 3 is much sharper than that on the Mk 2. The fore end is also chequered... a great improvement.
The new shape of the fore end is also a great improvement, as the shaping around the buddy bottle makes it look much tidier, and the bottle integration is improved,
A great improvement for little money... £150, and the stock is a perfect fit on the Mk 2 action.

Nice
could you please let me know if the £150 is for a stock i can retro fit to my s10 or is the £150 extra from the standard beech jobbie.
also where from?
thanks

Hello,
The Mk 3 Walnut stock, as a stand alone item, is listed at £150 from BSA. My dealer sold me this one for £130, so they obviously cost a lot less to the dealer (and mine was special order too)!!
I think that it costs around £50 extra, when ordered on a new gun.
It's simple to fit... remove the main screw under the fore end (phillips), remove the safety catc, which is just one screw, then remove the trigger guard.. 1 woodscrew, and a phillips screw which screws ito a pillar underneath the action. Pull the stock off, and put the new one on. 5 minute job!!

I had 2 superten's with bad fitting mags, is the reworked mag on the MK 3 much different?
Sorry, perhaps a misunderstanding.... this gun is a Mk2, with a Mk3 stock, neverteless, the mag fit's perfectly, or at least as perfectly as a BSA mag fits.

Nice stock, looks quite dark walnut in the photo. How does it compare weight wise to the old beech stock?
OOOHHHH!!!! looks nice.
is there an mk 3 action?...had to ask..
£150..ouch! looks like i have to do my own version(bullpupped of course! )
BSA have some other rather nice stocks in the pipeline for some of their other guns
Can't say anymore as I am sworn to secrecy
I play a Fender bass, I shoot a springer. I like things to be, well, dependable
Looks really nice, dark and brooding...they have done a really nice job in giving it more 'lines & curves'.
You have mail regarding the Mk2 stock.
Cheers
Ian

There are 10 types of people, those that understand binary, and those that don't.
Hello Steve,
Yes, it's identical unfortunately..... it does the job, but it's like putting a budget tyre on a Ferrari!!
