HW80 Mk1...they are so reliable as a hunting tool ..
Utterly bombproof springer...no faults whatsoever imho.
Am I right in presuming that John Whiscome no longer produces his recoiless marvels?

dave hall posted my fwb121 today, oooh,it's like waiting for christmas
I am jealous. Cant wait to get hold of my 124!
did you buy it off of dave?
No I don't think he did, I bought both Dave's 124s and 127. ATB Eric

I don't mind what sexual, religious or political persuasion you are, just don't impose them on me!!
the 121 arrived this morning,i don't like it!
doesn't feel as nice to shoot as my early hw85 did.
it may grow on me but i suspect it won't.
Give it a tune. Also, it might be be-devilled by some innocent fool putting an Ox spring in it or similar.
The FWB Sport series is quite hold-sensitive, but should be pleasant to shoot, anything else points to piston washer/spring/lube issues.
The 85 is a heavier rifle with a Rekord trigger, so the FWB might seem a bit soggy in the trigger department and a bit flighty.
Otherwise, how much?
i kind of know what you mean is it the plain stock with no recoil pad
i have one of those / 177
the reach to pull dont feel as good as on the 124/7 stocks and the lack of recoil pad makes it feel a tad harsh i have a 22 hw 85 and they feel a lot like the sport to shoot / never tried one in 177 to compare though
what cal is yours
it came from dave hall so i have no doubts that it is right in every department,it also has a 124 stock so should be more comfortable but it feels odd,my hw was also in .177 and i liked that a lot more than i like this.

just noticed the barrel is bent too, unbelievably peed off now!
Sorry to hear about your misfortune Bigchap. I was going to say that it would probably grow on you until I read your last post. Bugger.
By the way Hsing ee, that must be the best sales pitch I have seen for a while now ! Shame about this 121. Hope my 124, when I finally get paid and buy it, is as I remember my last Sport. Namely a flighty (as previously and accurately described by Hsing ee) slim but quality springer with a bit of an iffy trigger and crap pressed steel safety. This just makes them even more fun to shoot in my opinion.
