If the front trigger guard screw is the same as on the twelve bore I may be able to help you with that
Can any of the Martini experts on the forum please give me a ball park value for an 1888 dated IC1 Martini Carbine please? I'll also be needing the front trigger guard bolt!

A man can always use more alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
I'll get my Vernier calipers out then !
is this under the obsolete ammunition or do you still need a firearms license ????
Obsolete and no FAC required under Section 58(2) of the Firearms Act if held as a collectors item and not used. If you want to shoot them they need to go on your FAC.
Trigger guard screw, £7 plus P&P, from Peter Dyson.
I will give you a bottle of Scotch for it.
depends on the carbine and cal some more photos woulld be good full length i have a martini cav carbine myself........

An 1888 model is most likely to be a .303 & that is an fac job.
Not this one ! Mine is a .577/450 just like this one.....

If it was a .303 it would be on my FAC.
Like this one...
