haven't looked at any manuals, just do what feels comfortable. tried to have a look at the manual on target bunnies website, but its like a million pages long.
so im probably not the best person to give advice.
Hi, Been doing abit of research into shooting stances, and er there seems to be a few, now having done abit of pistol (badly might I add and only very briefly!) shooting in my regular army days, I used a sort of isoceles kind of stance possibly with a bit of weaver thrown in too!
So thats what I've been using with HW75 and so far it seems to be going ok - really just been sticking to the markmanship principles with the theory that if it works for a rifle it will hopefully see me ok on the pistol.
Now having just had a read at the us army pistol something or another(it was linked in a prevous thread on here), its got thinking about trying single handed?
So if you please gents! What do you use and why, and how do you feel it works for you?
Regards
Sonny

Well Sol, do you more less always hit what your aiming at, if so mate I'd be keen to hear!
Sonny
more or less yer,
for target shooting
2 handed, square on with target feet shoulder width apart, i tend to lean back slightly with this, i think its a bad habit ive developed from shooting in my dressing gown too much, as i have to keep my belly out otherwise it undoes itself exposing my concealed weapon
1 handed, facing 90 degrees away from target, feet shoulder width again, non shooting hand in my pocket usually

I now have the thought of Sol in his dressing gown & red IPAS rig trying not to "let it all hang out"
Thanks Guys!

This describes it pretty well for single handed shooting.

I tend to use the famous "shaking like a crapping dog" stance.
With practice, I'm hoping to adapt something a little more stable, and more likely to hit what I am aiming at.
"Improvise, adapt and overcome."
I can count to potato.
For 2 handed, I use Isocles (feet straight forward towards target). Most stable.
Dont really like weaver. Chances of aiming errors if you shift/tilt yr head sideways. Also, yr sights are closer by. Dont like it.
Might be faster though with speedshooting, dunno.
Mostly single handed these days though.

Trouble is that the more I practice, the better at that stance I get!
