Is it ok to dry fire a Tau7 with no co2 in it?
Just wondering if banging an unloaded valve causes any damage at all.
Cheers

Cheers Nick.
So not a good idea. Err, ooh.
I use a plastic protector on my Rohms to keep the valve firmly seated with the hammer parked, you could easily make something I suspect,

Yes, I've a rough idea of what might be needed. Just something to stop the hammer short. I'll chop a pencil rubber up for a prototype shape.

On the Pilkguns site, where they explain about the Tau how the sights work etc, they also state how to make it dry fire.

Thanks Yana, that looks a bit fiddly, doesn't it?
I'll see if I can come up with something similar.
