    Butt Reservoir Air Rifle

Possibly unique Butt Res air rifle
Only other example (as far as I know) is or was in the Milwaukee museum (States) and is an incomplete example and this one is totally complete and unrestored in any way.
It is known as the "Liege Lock" type and dates from the 17th Century.
Heavey scroll type engraving and gold relief on barrel at breech with sights and has 37" barrel with original ramrod to drive 11mm ball down smoothbore barrel. No makers name.
I have more info in my folder which I will get wednesday.
Need back what it cost me £750. now sold

Pics available, taken by CRX so real good, if requested from my mail address.
