When I grew up in Philadelphia I used to go down to Independence Hall every year for the festivities.

Is American Independence Day noted much in the UK?

I would think that our Thanksgiving Day would be: you can celebrate getting rid of the Puritans!

As far as I'm aware neither day is celebrated over here. It's a shame we don't have any true national holidays where the whole community celebrates together. It 's probably the British psyche getting in the way, God forbid we should any emotion to total strangers

The way Thanksgiving is portrayed gives the impression that the whole family celebrates together along with close friends. I hope that is how it happens

Yes, Thanksgiving Day still has remained traditional. It's not a gift-giving or drinking day, but one for family and friends to get together, eat a lot, and talk.

Though it's been intruded upon by the TV set and the (American) football games.

    Just sent mine over.

On Stage One, I took my time, as you have a minute to do it in. It took me 22 seconds .

Stage Three, not too good I missed the man with my first shot

I'm still going to be last, however I did have fun with it.

    Regards
    Paddy.
