For the Merlin condition is all. A Mark 1 in mint and boxed would be well over £200. With the wrong stock and in used condition with scratches etc - probably nearer £100 - £120. Pictures would help a lot.
Mark 3 - again depends upon condition and model. An average one - about £120 - £140 but again picture would help pin it down (or up !). The stocks often split where you say and glue is not strong enough for a permanent repair - as you say though unless you look you probably wouldn't notice.
