Mick came from an area I spent a lot of my childhood because my Grandmother lived there. Have thought of him a few times since his untimely death.
Will raise a cup of tea tonight....(On the wagon, wife's orders )
It is three years to the day that the BBS and Airgunning lost one of it's finest-Mick Hunt. I have been thinking about Mick quite a lot recently-he gave me some excellent advice on life, a few years ago and it has proved invaluable recently.
My thought's are with Jenny and the family-I sincerely hope that life is being good to you all
Tonight I shall be raising a glass to Micks memory

Spent many happy hours in Mick's company (and caravan) at the early BBS and HFT meets around the country and spent the day with me at my house the year before he died during his annual pilgrimage to Pembrokeshire for holidays.
Had many memorable laughs at LV with Mick, Roger 62 (also RIP) Jon Purssell , Derek (winebago nut) and others and some good weekends at the MGF.
I will raise a glass tonight.
My thoughts are also with Jenny and family.
Cheers
Roger
I never knew Mick, but wish i had.
my best wishes go to his family.
rest in peace Mick
GOOD DEALS...Here,post 6404
Always got on really well with Mick on here , was due to meet him at Cobham ( probably when we met up there Graham ) but sadly his health wasn't too good .
I hope Jenny and the family are well and can take some comfort by the fact he was so very well thought of on here , a smashing fella and a great loss .
Here's to Mick

Mick was one of the big guys in lots of ways through his contributions on here. He was one of the first to arrive and to take charge, if my memory is correct.
We could rely on wisdom and judgement from Mick, with no knee-jerk replies.
Many thanks for the kind words and best wishes, life can never be the same without Mick but the three of us have such good memories of him that I cherish the 35 years we were together.
He has certainly left his enthusiasm for hobbies and interests on Steven so far this year we have been to Dunsfold, Biggin Hill and of course this weekend the mighty Farnborough.
BFFNUT if all goes to plan we are spending a few days in Wales with the prime aim of returning to St. Justinians . (please hold on to the good weather )
Shoot stright.

Just returned to this site after an absence of several years, and was greatly saddend at the news of Micks passing. It is a tribute to him the someone like myself who never had the pleasure of meeting him should feel such a loss.
Blimey is that you Steve aka Gollum
To Mick
Nice to see he was held in such high esteem by everyone that met him, and rightly so.
God bless you MICK.
