Tin of .22 Webley pellets (old?) any info?
I have a half tin of .22 Webley pellets, The tin looks quite old.
The info isn't printed on the tin, it is printed on paper which is then stuck on the tin (sticker) the print is just black and white (off white so may of faded)
It says :WEBLEY
.22
approx 500
SPECIAL WAISTED PELLETS
MANUFACTURED TO THE
SPECIFICATIONS OF
WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM
ENGLAND
Any idea of age and is this collectable and of any value?
I have pics but cannot post on here but can email them to you.
Thanks
Rob.

Hi, they sound like early 80's ones.......does it say just .22, or .22/5.5mm?, and all black and white (no red) lettering?
A pic would be handy, via my profile email...I can host it for you to get more opinions.
Value wise, the later Webley tins seem to fetch between £5-12 depending on condition, how full, sealed etc......It is hard to be exact as prices seem to fluctuate for no reason, but there are normally quite a few of these around so people are quite picky and wait for a nice one.
Maybe worth looking at T J macavoy's pellet page to see if they have any?

I have seen a couple of these, but they seem to be a lot scarcer than the one I thought it was.....so maybe £10 - 15 on the right day.

Thanks Edbear
I didn't realise they were worth that much.
