I'll start the ball rolling at £20
Folks, a member on here has sent me his Army issue G10 watch for auction to raise funds for our Parcels for the Troops appeal.
I will put photos on here shortly.
The donor admits, it is certainly not "as new" as it has been with him in active service.
I wish I was in a position to offer some cash for it. I'd be proud to wear it myself.
So, chaps and chapesses, will you help us to help our troops and get yourself a genuine Cabot Watch Company G10 watch?
Cliff.

In fact capitalisation is important all the time. It's the difference between "I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse" and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse"

If no BBSers object I would like to buy/bid for this watch as a belated birthday present for my old pal Sir Clifford with a bid of £100. I know sir Clifford would really like this watch and now I am back at work and can afford a present for him at last in recognition for his friendship and support after the serious RTA I suffered in January that put me off work with serious injuries for over 6 monthes.
This was a very generous gift from a well known BBSer who wishes to remain nameless for now and having an MWC and CWC G10 watch already which I've owned for 23 years with any problems whatsoever I believe these watches are the best bar none they are more or less indestructable.
If anyone already bidding on this does have any objections please post below

How embarrassed am I right now....
When Gary came to my house this afternoon, I showed him the watch.
Before I knew it, he said he'd pay £100 for it as a prezzie for me.
I was overwhelmed, I don't do these sorts of 'receiving gifts' very well.
Less people than I can count on one hand have been such good friends to me as Gary has.
I'm selfishly wearing the watch right now, just as selfishly hoping no-one else bids £101!
Well done Mr. Grayling, top call
Take care, Matt
