Stupid question time re a webley eclipse mk1

hi as above ,is the pellet loaded in to the pop up breech block or direct in to the barrel ?
Also it`s now shooting around the 9.77 ft lbs breech seals are all ok .
Would it be worth putting a new spring and piston seal in it.
Any help would be appreciated.

direct into barrel, not the block
power is ok if .177
If .22, then a new spring and piston head should get the power up a bit
