Similar, yes, but obviously the angle will differ.

KME KNife sharpener, everyone can have a razor sharp knife. I have one and it works perfectly for every knife.
Nice guide, my next buy is to be a good knife.
Thats a post for everyone.I used to sharpen my survival knife,not on its own mini stone.But on a large flat looking pebble from whatever Loch I was on.This worked ok (Though not perfect it kept us going).Jim.(Night Owl).
Cheers for all the info guys, got my oil stone and will be spending a few hours sharpening my knives, while not trying to loose a finger or two. Might even get the kitchen knives done as well (get some extra brownie points from the lady of the house).
