which theoben would it be ????
I am having cocking problems with my Theoben. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Oxfordshire that could help?
which theoben would it be ????
like airgun god said what theoben is it mate ?
It started out as a Rapid 7 in .22 which has been turned into an Elan in .20.
Really nice rifle which has not been a spot of bother before.
what sort of cocking problems are you having
It started out that if I let go off the cocking handle it would cook off.
Then the handle would go to the rear but it would not hold.
Sounds like trigger is set too light?.
I have not adjusted since I have had it.
yep definitely sounds like trigger is not engaging properly/set too light.
I presume the standard one.
Have a look at yer cocking dog might be damaged..or I might be waffling
Fire control,I-Band 4' parabolic dish with tri-port feed------
Assuming you have the series 4 trigger-posting the serial number of your rifle should confirm this one way or the other-then you need to move the 'Main Sear Adjustment Screw'. Go to the Theoben website and download the diagram of the series 4 trigger and take it from there.

Id hazzard a guess at your wee cocking dog going for a walkies...
Remove the side cover plate and loading bolt.. twist the probe anticlockwise and you should see the cocking dog. Id check this for damage before fiddling with any trigger adjustments.. It will only take 2 minutes.
