The first QA shoot of the year is on Sunday March 13th. All details above.
Lovely jubbly roll on 13th.
Regards to all Pete
We are really looking forward to getting back up to Quarnford but unfortunately at least the first 2 or 3 shoots of the new season clash with formal HFT commitments, the 13th March is the final round of the Midlands HFT Winter Series at Greyhound, the 27th March is the first round of the UKAHFT Series at Treetops in South Wales! Sods law, you go 4 months then they all come at once.
Look forward to seeing you all as soon as possible in April.

Good to hear from you folks, it always seems that we wait for ages and then there are other commitments but all the QA dates are at the top of the column so hope to see you there when you are able to make it.
Please spread the QA gospel to other airgunners.
1st Quarnford this Sunday, then on the 27th of March.
The shoot will be ready on Sunday but will you be???
Will the first Quarnford of the year get off to a HILLY start?
What do you think Pete.

Check this out, http://www.flashbarstores.co.uk/ it is looking good for tomorrow.
Hope to see you there.
The 1st QA shoot of the year went quite well with a reasonable turnout & some decent weather, lets hope we have more of the same on the 27th.
For those of you who were unable to attend the course used was to the right of the road, will the next event be an uphill battle?
Hi Steve,
Weather @ Q when I arrived on Sunday ---vision was down to around 150 yds up thru Flash got all my lights on & wipers flat out, nice Quarnford switching wind up the valley & it was bloody snowing ,then raining,my fingers were frozen for half the course.
I had two coats on ,bomber jacket with hood up & the new florro yellow cammo jacket that I have worn before, although I don`t think this style of cammo works too well.
The weather did clear half way round but by then both me & Karl had blown it K did 76,me 75, Platty did 72,don`t know the rest.
We just went out too early should have stay in the hut & had a few more cuppas & toasties.
How did you do @ the weekend.
Pete
Hi Pete, Well driving down to the Greyhound on the motorway through the rain and spray was a bit iffy. Having got there the weather relented and shooting the second session meant sunshine all the way
It was a good course and I shot 53 ex 60 on the day and but for blanking a kneeling shot (and missing a stander) could have struck gold.
See ya on the 27th,
Steve

Steve,
Will you mention to John that we have not deserted them! We hope to make it for the third shoot on 10th April.
The 1st shoot at Quarnford clashed with the last round of the Midland HFT Winter Series as you know, the second shoot at Quarnford clashes with the 1st round of the UK's!
(Hope I shoot better than my attempt at the Greyhound!) Well done you, 53 was a good score mate.
