I've always liked the simplicity of the 1911
Oh yes, that H&Kesque thing looks pretty good.
If its half as good as my Uzi I'll be making a purchase.
I do want an airsoft GBB 1911 too but the new Cybergun 1911 is a 4.5mm
In my minds eye I'm considering it might just take lead ball - or can be made to.
The 1911 is such a classic and the idea of having a 1911 blow back lead shooter....
Likes turns into wants, turns into needs, leads to purchase - knowing your on the slippery slope to ownership doesn't seem to help with the compulsion....
*Ticks and twitches off to check the bank balance...
On the website, it says it's softair. what is that, is that the bulb gas? Is'nt the range of 71m optimistic?
I think they mean fall out range, furthest it'll go!,

It doesn't cycle, so is the trigger DA pull feel like DA or SA? It looks fun for plinking tins.
Not the same gun chaps
The one in the links in the OP is a full metal 4.5mm bb with full blow back - not soft air.
Looks to me to be in the same kinda style as the sig sauer p226 full metal 4.5mm bb blow back they do - hence my interest
Balls.
Soft air is 6mm plastic ball ammo, the other is steel or lead 4.5mm ball.
I think its more down to the power of the pistol rather than the calibre/projectile. IIRC a Softair gun has to be less than 1 joule, anything higher and its an airgun and therefore does not need to be ruined by painting it orange\pink.
Might be off on the power rating there though but you can have a 6mm gun that is an airgun (e.g. Dan Wesson revolvers)
I'd love an metal BB shooter gas blowback 1911 - where does one purchase this kinda thing in the UK? That Witness 1911 looks like what I'm after...
I dont think they are out yet, I might start making enquiries.
