Just ask Kranks to get you a real one.
Then when they give you the predictable answer you are straight in with the witty repartee.
Something along the lines of "exactly so stop being a **** then! "
They will deliver to your local RFD altho I get charged £25 for this " service " from mine - Kranks in Leeds plus I have to endure their sarcastic comments because its not a proper gun ..... In their eyes anyway .....
I will probably have to get one of these , its too nice not to . Shame about the " Tanfoglio " trademarks - eh ??? Looks like a good old 1911 A1 to me but there you go ...
If nitpicking I prefer the solid look mag from the 226 than the one shown with the cut outs - spoils the realism , same as the ones on the otherwise superb Beretta 92FS from the same company ( GSG 92 )
All told tho , a great looking gun , all metal and look at that realistic takedown . wait .

Its on You Tube replica airgun.com man -video review.
He loves it and Im after one.
Should be able to get it from my RFD who got three X fives when they were difficult to get.
He pays for them upfront which helps.
Hello everyone,
If your local dealer orders from SMK (Sports Marketing) then they aught to be able to get one for you. Most airgun stockists will have had dealings with them. If they don't (or won't) then ask them to do a RFD postal service for you (money for old rope). Just ignore the sarcasim and their superb wit and get one. Dealers who take the p*** out of their customers will go out of business just because of that and quite right too.
As for the Tanfoglio markings well they make superb handguns and are one of the better producers of the venerable M1911 automatic. See it as a proof of your discerning taste!
I am in London so will visit my local dealer tomorrow to put an order in.
Good luck eveyone
Alan
Hi amazing pistol it doesnt tell you on the net but you can strip the slide. It is a shame about markings but is one of the best budget examples of the great 1911 its got some kick aswell. Truly gorgeous! Cybergun make some great stuff better than Umarex its all from those wonderful people from KWC.
Thanks Alan
I knew Tanfoglio were an esteemed Italian firearms firm but did,nt know they made a 1911 ? Google just seems to find the airpistol .
There is a gun shop in the North that was doing the cybergun pistols very cheap and always seem to have stock I just remember for the life of me who they are ?
226 models for £100 brand new etc .
I agree what the other contributor said about how good these are . Amazing that they not only copy the function of the real steel , but also strip and takedown just like it .
wait to get one of these .

Tanfoglio are a superb custom maker of real guns.
I have a 1994 Catalogue which is real pistol porn.
They are especially well known for their race Colts.
Also do .22 pocket pistols and a cracking .22LR single action Cowboy revolver based on the Colt Peacemaker.
None of which we are allowed to have.
Does anyone ever do 'group buys' on this forum? I'm on a couple of VW forums, and people sometimes organise these to aid with price and delivery... it seems that there's some interest in this model (I definitely want one ) so could anything be organised? Would the dealer do a better price if half a dozen of us bought?
I like the sound of this . Group buys ?
I am sure there are enough of us interested in one or more of this model ?
I wonder if anyone close to a dealer who has these would be willing to " group buy " if we forward the cash .
in for deffo .
I wonder if this pistol will take real .45 acp grips ? Would look even better with a set of wood grips or maybe the Pachmayer rubber type grips . Since this is an original 1911A1 clone I reckon the wood ones would suit it best .

Someone gets RFD to order group buy. RFD gives person the guns after receiving money. Person sends out guns to buyers "second hand".
Not sure if this even saves that much money this way or not, but it's the best thing I could think of.
I'd sure as hell would be interested in a group buy for one of these if such a thing was ever attempted however.
A group buy would need to be at a substantial discount to make it worth it in terms of the additional postage and potential serious chew if anyone's 1911 has to go back under warranty.
Still it can't hurt to ask the question of an RFD as to how many would cost what, and suss out a deal to be done?
Shall we all inquire locally to ourselves how many 10 would be and post the results?
Are these actually in the shops yet ?
I have not yet found them listed however v confusing with several different types including a cheap cybergun item with " Tanfoglio Witness " written on the side ( none blowback - none fieldstrip ?? )
Then you have plastic bb / metal bb variants . V confusing . However I see Mcavoys in Wigan have all the other cybergun models so might be a good start for me as almost within reasonable travel distance .
Agree with above comments : once the guns leave the shop they are secondhand and therefore not subject to the VCR and able to be posted - just like used guns on the BBS !
Still it irks somewhat all this faff for a bb gun , what has happened to this country ??
