I have recently come in to possession of this Weberly Mk1 .177 Airpistol. As you can see it is in good condition as it has been stored in a wardrobe for many years.Unfortunatley it does not have a box.
I have serial numbers if required, but what I’m basically after is a little help with its provenance and value?
Pleased have a look at the below links and please please give me your thoughts.
Regards,
Jim

This is a very nice example of the "straight grip" Mk1. This model was made between 1924 and 1935. The Mk1 models which came after this one had more slanted grips which were made from Bakelite. From the Serial Number it was probably made around 1931. Value in my opinion will be around £200, but we don't see many nice Mk1 pistols for sale on this forum. Other Webley collectors will no doubt have their own ideas.
Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.
Rare to find a finish like that, shame about the scratches.
I'd say value about £150 assuming the action is tight.
Nice pistol.
