    Yes, but they were making things better to begin with in that bygone era. I doubt that many Crosmans (or Daisys, Webleys, Umarex, or anything else) made today will be functional after nearly 40 years of even normal use, without extensive repairs.

    I have been thinking about getting one of these or a Gamo Compact for target shooting, local airgun shop said not to bother with the Alecto due to reliability issues. Would like to try one before I decide tho...

    I got told the same. I thought the Alecto was a fantastic idea but it sounds like its been poorly executed.

    Come on Weihrauch the stage is yours. A HW47, twin stroke 5.5ftlbs pneumatic version of the HW45 please.
