i dont have either
bit confusing that poll
yes or no would have done or yes no and going to :-
ps tim if its solely non fac why is there fac poll options just to confuse things more lol
FAC/SGC holder - yes
FAC/SGC holder - no
Non FAC/SGC Holder - Yes
Non FAC/SGC holder - No
This is solely referring to non fac air guns - do you have a record of your gun's serial number and any relevant pictures?
I've included a poll with a few options - hope they make sense. It's an anonymous poll btw
Cheers - Timmaaah
/edit - pics additional, really interested in serial numbers

FAC/SGC holders will be much more likely to record details of their non FAC rifles (I would assume. I do), so wanted to separate them from non FAC/SGC air gunners if you see what I mean?
A FAC air rifle would have to have it's serial number recorded, but non FAC rifles don't. I'm just curious to know how many non FAC rifles have their serial number recorded/saved/written down by the owner. I think that makes sense
Original question really refers to serial numbers specifically - pics an added benefit
Yes, on a spreadsheet. My parents, inlaws and brother have an electronic copy and there's a couple of hard copies securely stash away.
The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!
A good way of highlighting a very valid point.
It should be a universal part of gun ownership, on or off ticket.
It would look a bit silly when Mr Plod says "now what was the guns description"
And you say "well it was a weirauch officer"
You should guard your serial numbers like your pin number.
off topic but i took pics of the vin plate and pics of my motorbike and pics of the serial numbers on all my mtbs . so if the police had to look for any of them they had photographic evidence too
i will be doing the same with any items of value that i own
You HAVE to record the SN of FAC guns.
Making waves since 1971.
I know off topic sorry but ill just say this.
I had plenty of pics of my motorbike and all documentation but it still hasnt been found after it was stolen from a POLICE compound yep a police compound who wouldnt even pay me compensation without a very stressfull fight.
If your guns get stolen and recovered by police you can assume they will be worth a lot less after the Plod have handled them, couldnt believe the state of a mates guns when he got them back.
Anyhow thats another story we should all take enough precautions so they cant be stolen in the first place.
i have had two motorbikes stolen and two mtbs . onlu got one motorbike found . they disguised it as another brand of bike lol.
i know what your saying though . one of my mtbs was nearly 4 grand and data tagged . its never been found hence the reason i wont data tag any of my bikes again
i have photos with the date on them when i got them & how etc, some copies are safe from all most anyone.....
all my stuff worth money is logged on a speedspeet like ryan & muti copies kept safe, just in case.
Talking of data tagging isnt there something similar out for guns?
If not Ive got first dibs on the patent!!!
You heard it here first boys and girls.
