At weekend my q\f unit exploded in my hand destroying my stock.
I was shot with the bolt head and stock inlet finisher.
New Mk1 in a MFRstock.....only bought it a month back.
My hand is still numb a bit.
Just screwing a new bottle on.
At the point where the pressure nips up i got a .....that doesnt feel right,bang eyes shut and throb all at once..really quick.
The unit was constructed too weakly by being threaded too far internally.
It blew the head off and left the threads in the hole
Apparently only 6 of these were made....and others sheared off on assembly.
Note to self...no MK1 anything ever again.
The only difference was a 230 fill. as opposed to the normal 200.
It had been on the gun 2 years.
So if your Q\f is the early flat topped unit ...get it out.

Sent a new one out ......now i need another stock ..
... it really makes you jump.
