get used to shooting it as is ..before the urge to tinker with it gets too strong you could try www.rimfirecentral.com for ideas
Picked this up Fri, shot it yesterday for the first time, with both supplied 10 rd mag and the BX55 25 round mag.
Trigger is good enough to get your head around and get used to. Was getting them into the black of a 10m air pistol traget at 54 yds (sitting) after a bit of care zeroing. Did'nt try it from a bag- think it will probably put in around 3/4" for a 10 shot group at 50m, which is fine in my book. Used Eley subs, will try some other ammo over the weeks. A big imrovement over my Annie 525!

them there springer's are soooooo addictive
Happy to leave as is! Nice bit of kit and nice looking too.
Was thinking about the target tactical, but it looks like a bit of a spud, even if it is shorter and lighter.
Love laminate stocks and stainless barrels! 25 rd mag is superb fun
just a little warning about using eley subs in your 10/22
they use ceramic particles in the primer compound which are like tiny particles of sand, these particles will get into your mags and jam them up something horrid, not only jam but scratch the nice smooth insides something awful
it only took 15 rounds in mine to wreck the first mag

I have an AMT/Theoben which is basically a 10/22 with the problems sorted out. I have used Eley subs in it for at least the last 10-15 years, no issues until about 18 months ago. Getting light strikes, 3 in 10 missfires. CC! pretty well all fire.
So what is the current sub sonic HP round of choice for 10/22s ?. Needs to not clag the works up, so that means Lapua or Eley, or used to when I used a lot of LR ammo, hold 2 moa, so an inch at 50 yards off a solid rest and cycle reliably. These days I use centerfires almost all the time, the semi comes in handy at night after the wheat is cut. Just sent mine to a specialist to try and get the missfire issue sorted.

Put 70 rounds of RWS HP subs through one mag in my AMT. No jams. Eleys would have fouled the mag within 15 shots.

I've had great results with CCI subsonics. They're copper washed, very clean, and very accurate! Bit pricey now, though, I think.
Oh, by the way, you might want to try a Volquartsen match hammer in your rifle - they cost about £35, and reduce the trigger pull by about half, with a nice release. A cheap and very worthwhile modification.
