sorry, mis read your post, isn't there an adaptor available? Some kind of 9pin serial > usb?
theres a chap on the airarms forum that sells them for a good price, from what ive seen he has sold quite alot and everyone seems to be chuffed.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a Combro Mk4 that didn't come with a USB cable when I bought it, what's the cable used for?!

the cables are sold separately and allows you to connect your combro to your laptop/computer and record the shots strings, etc...
Thanks for that, didn't realise you could do that. Is there no other software needed? Does it literally just show you the shot counts or convert into a graph like the others I've seen?
Might buy one of these myself. Here's the next daft question: How does it work in practical terms, do you have to plug into your laptop with the combro attarched to the barrel (I'm thinking trailing cables..) Or does the combro have a memory that counts and stores the shots, then adds to your laptop/computer when you plug it into the USB??..
