    old colt revolver, advice please

    Hi can anyone tell me anything about this old thing

    Looks like a nice example of a Colt Model 1855 'Root' revolver. They were made in .28 and .31 calibre.
    Value wise condition dictates the price but assuming all matching numbers on your example and no faults with the action I would say around the £700 mark.

    wow as much as that, all numbers are same and it works but it has not been fired in my life time
