    Pellet count

    Hi guys,

Just a question fellas, with a daystate air ranger is it a regulated shot count. What I mean is when the volume of air is low does the pellets start to drop in trajectory and ftps or will the rifle just stop when out of usable air ?

Hope this make sense and someone can answer it lol

    Cheers guys

It will start to show a drop in trajectory. Eventually, you would shoot it out of air.

You are mixing up some of the units you are quoting, ftlbs is a measure of energy. If you are meaning perhaps 50 bar (measure of pressure), a regulated gun will still fire once it has dropped below the reg pressure, but the power will nose-dive usually.

    Sorry in confusing things.

A 50ftlb daystate advitises 40 shots per fill (charge) what happens after that, does the power start to deteriorate or doe the rifle not opporate due to having not enough usable air?

    Ah right, sorry mate.
Principle will be the same. Once bottle pressure drops below the reg pressure, power will drop off.

All depends on which ranger u have, the early ones were regulated, the new style have the harper patent valve system. ive just got an early one a few days ago and absolutely love it.
